Our Mission is to further promote public and community awareness of  Post Polio Syndrome also to promote interest in PPS and in educating the public and community. We strive to make a difference through education both to the patients and to the community we serve.

Our purpose as support group is provide an opportunity for education, friendship, and an exchange of information on life-style adaptation, assistive equipment, medical treatment and provide a welcoming place to bond with fellow polio survivors.

We are a group of life-loving polio survivors who come together to share information such as medical, equipment, braces and any new techniques that could help us and our families to achieve a more positive attitude through informed  suggestions.

We are affiliated with Texas Polio Survivors Association, Inc. in Houston which has been granted 501(c)(3) tax exempt and non profit status by the IRS.    TPSA was organized in 1984. They are a organized volunteer network lead by a Board of Directors composed mostly of polio survivors.    To become an Associate Member or to make a donation contact TPSA at 713-690-0695  or mail request to 800 Wilcrest Dr., Ste #201 ; Houston, Texas 77042

You can also find them at http://www.texaspolio.com   All donations are gratefully accepted!!
