A TPSA Member, Lana Davis, has a Toilet Seat Lift for Sale. Name of brand: Mountway. Fits over commode. Is battery operated. If someone is unable to use grab bars to facilitate transfer or to get assistance for commode use, Lana says this works wonderfully. Is a lift that shifts entire body to commode. Has only been used once. Lana has both legs in full leg braces and in order to use this lift an individual has to be able to put one foot on the floor. Half leg braces would work well. The one foot on the floor is necessary when being lifted from the commode seat. Otherwise the one being transferred would slide off the seat.
